Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Poitiers, Holly's Diner invites you to step into a vibrant slice of classic Americana, right on 285 Av. du 8 Mai 1945. This family-friendly hamburger restaurant masterfully blends authentic 1950s diner charm with the warm hospitality that makes every guest feel like a regular. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a clean, cool atmosphere buzzing with cheerful energy and genuine friendliness, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.

At Holly's Diner, the menu is a celebration of comforting American classics executed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hot-dog selection is irresistible, featuring succulent pork sausages topped with golden grilled onions, genuine cheddar, crispy bacon, and perfectly balanced condiments like mustard and ketchup. Whether you choose the Classic Hot Dog, the Cheese HotDog, or the indulgent Cheese Bacon HotDog, each bite bursts with savory satisfaction and nostalgic flair.

The sandwiches showcase equally enticing combinations. Try the Sandwich Montana, loaded with rich raclette and Reblochon cheeses, delicate dry-cured ham, and tender salt-kissed baby potatoes, all elevated by a smooth cream cheese from Holly’s own recipe. For a more straightforward but no less delightful option, the Croque Holly's with soft ham and melted cheese is a timeless choice that melts in your mouth.

Seafood lovers will appreciate the expertly prepared Fish & Chips, featuring a crispy, golden-battered filet of pollock that delivers a perfect crunch with every bite. The Salmon Fillet is another standout—fresh, tender, and grilled to perfection, providing a lighter yet equally satisfying option.

What truly sets Holly's Diner apart is not just the food, but the attentive, multilingual staff who make you feel welcome and cared for. Guests consistently praise the team’s politeness and helpfulness, with particular mention of their fluency in English and exceptional service standards. One guest noted how the meat was cooked exactly as requested—a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to quality and precision.

The thoughtful menu extends to indulgent treats and beverages, with rich milkshakes and delightful desserts rounding out the experience. Even picky palates find something to love here, as the diner atmosphere and extensive offerings cater to families, groups, or solo diners looking for that perfect comfort meal.

In summary, Holly's Diner is a must-visit destination for anyone in Poitiers craving an authentic American diner experience without leaving France. Its tasteful blend of nostalgic ambiance, mouthwatering dishes, and warm service creates a haven for both locals and travelers alike. Whether you’re hungry after a long day on the road or simply looking for a fun and delicious meal, Holly’s guarantees a dining experience that feels both special and entirely satisfying.

Giving 5 stars because after 8+ hours on the road and tired, not knowing the area or the restaurant, we couldn't have asked for better. The service was 10/10 tonight, by everyone, specially the young men that took our order, very polite and sweet. If we ever crossed this area on our next trip we are coming back. Pd: the meat was also exactly cooked as we asked for. We don't see that often lately

The restaurant was clean, cool vibes and kind staff. Only slight problem was the pancakes: too much Nutella. The milkshakes were very good. Definitely recommend, not only for the diner experience like in the movies but also because the food is good.

A very clean and well-maintained restaurant, completely in the style of the American 1950s. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even in English. The food is excellent, with a wide range of appetizers, incredibly delicious hamburgers, and homemade fries. The desserts are also sublime. In our opinion, it's an absolute must-try if you're in the area and fancy a nice snack, lunch, or dinner. Thank you for the great service, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

There’s such a cool vibe at Holly’s! I love the decor - it’s super retro and truly feels like a classic American diner. The music playing really reflects that too. The food is definitely comforting in a traditional American way too, with big burgers, ribs, bacon burgers, generous portions of fries and some really delicious sauce options, my favourite being a heavenly cream cheese based sauce. If you’re looking for something lighter, they also do poke bowls too, so there’s an option for everyone. There’s a lot to choose from for starters too, but don’t get too ahead of yourself as, if you go for something too heavy, you’ll struggle to finish the main (I’ve been in that situation too many times at Holly’s)! Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the potato skins, as it’s just a dry baked potato and is very difficult to get through. The desserts offer a really nice finish to the meal - we usually go for the cheesecake with strawberry syrup, which can be a little sickly but tastes good. The service at Holly’s is also fantastic, which is what really elevates the experience each time - every member of staff I’ve come across in my many visits has been wonderful. If you’re hungry and looking for something classic and comforting, I definitely recommend stopping by Holly’s!

Went on a friday night and even though there were quite a bit of people, the service was fast and nice. We got the cheese burger and the meat was really good, also highly recommend the coupe de churros.
